Slice Engineering is a company founded by Chris Montgomery and Daniel Barousse in Florida and recognized for developing the famous Mosquito hotend, one of the most innovative hotends with the best thermal performance in the market. The Mosquito hotend is characterized by exceptional flow and it was designed in mind with the printing of technical grade materials at high speeds without sacrificing quality and precision. Another flagship product from Slice Engineering is the Copperhead hotend. The Copperhead is an all-metal hotend with a bi-metal heatbreak, which improves the hotend's thermal efficiency and helps prevent heat creep.

Apart from the famous hotends, the Slice Engineering portfolio includes various hotend upgrade kits for 3D printers from brands such as Modix, Prusa or Raise3D. Furthermore, currently Slice Engineering is associated with the prestigious Swedish extruder company Bondtech. Thanks to this, there is a perfect integration between the products of both companies.

In order to further increase the efficiency and quality of extrusion, Slice Engineering offers maintenance products such as the filament drying capsule (helps prevent moisture absorption that leads to extrusion problems), the plastic repellent paint that helps the nozzle and hotend clean from plastic residue, or the thermal boron nitride paste that improves the thermal performance of the hotend.
