3D4Makers started out in 2014 in the Netherlands as a family business. A father and son working in the raw plastic distribution business decided to build their own filament extruder, using the knowledge they have gained throughout the years in their sector.

From sellers to manufacturers

3D4Makers started out in 2014 in the Netherlands as a family business out of interest in the growing 3D printing market. A father and son working in the raw plastic distribution business decided to build their own filament extruder, using the knowledge they have gained throughout the years in their sector. As they experimented with the extruder, they took interest in optimizing and perfecting the extruded material itself.

Highest quality filaments

During the filament production process, 3D4Makers does not use water in the cooling process in order to minimize the risk of the materials absorbing humidity and thus losing quality. Furthermore, once manufactured, the 3D4Makers filaments are immediately vacuum packed, which also reduces the risk of humidity absorption and contributes to an easy and problemless 3D printing process. All 3D4Makers filaments stand out thanks to their great adhesion between layers, which translates into great impact resistance, strength, durability and reduced warping.

Effortless 3D printing process

The 3D4Makers filament portfolio contains a wide range of standard as well as advanced materials, dubbed by the manufacturer as ultra performance filaments. In order to make the 3D printing process even easier for the user, 3D4Makers includes with all their filaments a product information folder with technical information, printer settings, storage information and safety information.
