Raise3D's Hyper Speed ABS V2 filament is an exceptional addition to the brand's Hyper Speed filament portfolio and an improved version of the Hyper Speed ABS filament. It must be kept in mind that in order to extrude with the Hyper Speed ABS V2 filamet at speeds of over 150 mm/s, it is necessary to use the Pro 3 or Pro 3 Plus 3D printers with the Hyper Speed Upgrade Kit installed and the Hyper Speed Mode in ideaMaker set (the most recent version ideaMaker 4.4.3 Alpha must be installed).

Designed to address the limitations of regular ABS filaments at high speeds, the Hyper Speed ABS V2 filament mitigates nozzle clogging and subpar layer bonding caused by the rapid transition from solid to molten states. Unlike its predecessors, this innovative filament boasts optimized molecular weight and stiffness, enabling unparalleled printing speeds of up to 300 mm/s.

Thanks to its advanced formulation, the Hyper Speed ABS V2 filament ensures faster melting and uniform cooling, minimizing temperature gradients and inner stress in printed parts. With enhanced heat resistance of up to 77 ºC at 0.45 MPa, it surpasses the capabilities of other ABS filaments.

The Hyper Speed ABS V2 filament means no more warping or compromised layer bonding. This material not only delivers superior printing performance but also caters to a spectrum of applications, including functional prototyping, jigs, fixtures, manufacturing aids, end-use parts, and enclosures with remarkable impact resistance and dimensional stability. Moreover, 3D prints from this filament can be post-processed via polishing or acetone vapor smoothing.

This filament should be dried at 50 °C for approximately 8 hours before printing in a filament dryer. Despite the low moisture absorption properties of this filament, it should be stored properly, preferably in a vacuum sealed container or in a sealed bag with a desiccant capsule until use or in a drying case, such as the Fiber Three drying case.

It is recommended to print the Raise3D Hyper Speed ABS V2 at a temperature of 210-260 °C at 25-300 mm/s, on a bed heated to 55-65 °C with the layer fan on. To print in the 150-300 mm/s range, it is necessary to install the Hyper Speed Upgrade Kit. For better bed adhesion and less chance of part warpage, adding a brim or raft is recommended.
