Recreus is a Spanish company dedicated to the development, manufacture and distribution of filaments for FDM 3D printing, specialized in elastic materials. Its flagship product, the FilaFlex line of filaments, includes materials with varying degrees of stretch (500-950%) and various specialized properties.

Recreus: Assured quality

Recreus is a company that was born in 2013, launching, after 3 years of development, the first really elastic filament in the market, solving an important lack existing up to that date. This fact, and maintain a high level of evolution, have established Recreus as a reference in the 3D printing market. In 2019, the large oil company Repsol joins Recreus as a partner, providing the necessary impetus to accelerate its I+D and develop new materials in the form of raw material for the different technologies of 3D printing.

In addition to its experience, Recreus ensures the quality of its filaments thanks to its automated production lines, its exhaustive quality control and a large number of tests on the different 3D printers on the market.

FilaFlex: The first elastic filament

Since its creation, the catalog of FilaFlex filaments has been expanding to provide materials with different degrees of stretch for diverse applications. Thus, Recreus offers the FilaFlex 95A with 500% stretch, FilaFlex TPE 82A with 650 % of stretch, FilaFlex Foamy with 740% of stretch, FilaFlex TPE 70A UltraSoft with 900% of stretch, and FilaFlex 60A Pro with 950% stretch. The use of FilaFlex is widespread in all sectors. In the industry it is used to manufacture manipulators, protectors or any type of element designed to protect a piece. In the medical sector, flesh-colored prostheses are made to measure for each patient. It is also very used in fashion, where great designers complement their clothes thanks to FilaFlex filaments that allow printing directly on the fabric.

Apart from these materials, Recreus has also developed specialized versions of FilaFlex such as the Reciflex made of 100% recycled TPU, the conductive FilaFlex, the air-purifying FilaFlex 82A, or the FilaFlex SEBS, a TPE-based filament with insulating properties, and resistance to chemicals, heat and UV radiation.

Apart from the FilaFlex filaments, Recreus also makes other filaments such as the PLA Purifier (air-purifying properties), PLA LW for light prints, the PP3D filament accompanied by an adhesion-promoting primer, or the PP GF resistant to UV radiation, chemicals, humidity and corrosion.
