Polymaker: Maximum quality and resistance

Polymaker, a global company headquartered in Shanghai, originated in 2013 through the collaborative efforts of four university students specializing in Polymer Sciences. They have made significant strides in their filament technology, introducing innovations like jam-free, nano reinforcement, layer-free, ash-free, and warp-free technologies. Rapidly, Polymaker emerged as a frontrunner in the realm of 3D printing solutions. The company's mission revolves around delivering unparalleled quality across all their materials, achieved through meticulous control of raw materials and the mechanical properties and performance of the manufactured materials. Each stage of the process entails close collaboration with top-tier brands in the chemical industry, culminating in the superior finish of the filament.

Reinventing PLA

The Polymaker product range encompasses a diverse array of PLA filament variations, each meticulously crafted to address specific needs in 3D printing. Among them is the PolyTerra series, featuring eco-friendly PLA options with enhancements like improved toughness, a silky finish, dual colors, or recycled PLA materials. Polymaker also offers PolyWood PLA that mimicks the density and haptics of real wood. Additionally, the PolyLite family of PLA distinguishes itself with ease of printing and unique properties such as reduced weight, carbon fiber content, or enhanced rigidity. Polymaker also offers the innovative PolyMax PLA, combining ABS-like toughness with the easy printing characteristics of PLA, and the PolySonic line of PLA designed for high-speed 3D printing. These filaments are available in a vibrant spectrum of colors, adding life to any prototype or decorative object. Apart from PLA, Polymaker includes other commodity plastics in its offer. Some of them are PETG from the PolyLite (easy to print) family or PolyMax family (toughness or ESD protection), as well as easy to print ABS and ASA (PolyLite family).

Advanced applications

Polymaker has several high-level industrial materials designed for providing excellent performance in engineering applications. Among these specialized materials are easy to print PC filaments (PolyLite) and extra tough PC filaments with resistance to impacts, heat or chemicals (PolyMax). Polymaker also offers various types of PA filaments from the PolyMide family, with properties such as heat resistance (PolyMide CoPA or PolyMide PA6-CF), decreased moisture sensitivity (PolyMide PA612-CF or PA12-CF), extreme toughness (PolyMide CoPA, PA6-CF or PA6-GF), or increased ease of printing (PolyMide PA6-CF or PA6-GF). Polymaker's PolyFlex line of flexible 3D printing filaments includes options such as a TPU90 safe for skin contact and UV-stable, or a TPU95-HF for easy printing at high speeds.

To truly diversify their offer, Polymaker also offers various support filaments, both soluble and breakaway (PolyDissolve and PolySupport), as well as the PolySmooth line of filaments (designed for hands-free post processing with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol) or the PolyCast family of materials designed specifically for investment casting applications. Polymaker's offer also includes the PolyCore catalog of 3D printing pellets (ABS, ASA, PETG, PVB, TPU, etc.)
