Colorfabb is a Netherlands based company founded in 2013 that develops and manufactures a wide range of specialised products for FDM / FFF 3D printing.

Experimental and innovative filaments

Thanks to its R&D work and extensive knowledge of polymers, dyes and additives, ColorFabb is constantly developing new filaments to add to its portfolio, expanding its range of innovative filaments with materials such as LW-PLA and LW-ASA or VarioShore TPU.

Some of Colorfabb's most innovative filaments are based on polymers such as PLA or ASA, thermoplastic materials widely used in FDM 3D printing. With LW-PLA and LW-ASA, ColorFabb offers the user products with specific properties, reducing weight and multiplying production compared to a standard PLA or ASA spool.

Another standard material that ColorFabb has modified is TPU. VarioShore TPU is a filament that allows users to vary the density, weight and feel of the extruded material depending on temperature, speed and layer height.

Synergy of professionals

ColorFabb's laboratories are located in a 3D printing centre in Belfed, a town in the Dutch province of Limburg. Colorfabb shares the building with 2 other companies: Helian Polymers, dedicated to the dyes and bioplastics industry, and Blackbelt 3D, known for its conveyor belt 3D printer. The union of these 3 companies manages to solve the needs of the market, generating a reliable and fast response based on knowledge and experience.
