Setting high standards

In 2009 Josef Prusa began working with 3D printers under the RepRap project. A few years later, in 2012, Prusa Research was born, one of the most relevant companies in the 3D printing sector, with thousands of 3D printers shipped monthly around the world. Since its inception, Prusa's main objective has been to create simplified but powerful versions of 3D printers adapted to any type of user, prioritizing ease of use, precision and open-source philosophy.

Award-winning 3D printers

Prusa Research 3D printers have been awarded and recognized worldwide on numerous occasions. Prusa's most popular 3D printer, the Prusa i3, has been updated numerous times to versios such as the MK3S+ version, a powerful and reliable 3D printer with a very good price/performance ratio.

Some other quality equipment in Prusa's portfolio includes the Prusa Mini, a smaller 3D printer designed in mind with beginners or as an auxiliary printer. Prusa also offers the Prusa MK4 optimized for high speed printing with a wide range of materials, as well as Prusa XL made specially for large-scale additive manufacturing with multiple toolheads.

Apart from 3D printers, Prusa offers various replacement parts for their 3D printers, as well as innovative add-ons such as the MMU3 Kit that allows for multimaterial printing, or enclosures that allow for working with more demanding materials.

Open source philosophy

Always faithful to open source technology, defending the community and the exchange of knowledge, all its printers, their source code, parts, drawings, etc. are available to any user. This means being able to print your parts from any 3D printer and being able to create replicas of it.
