This Christmas 2023 filament bundle from Polymaker contains three 1 kg spools of 1.75 mm PolyLite PLA filament in vibrant colors: Champagne Gold, Santa's Velvet Red, and Comet's Extravagance Green.

  1. Champagne Gold - this material presents a smooth, silk-like texture reminiscent of sparkling holiday lights.
  2. Santa's Velvet Red - the deep and lively red hue of this filament emanates a silkiness that adds richness and depth to Christmas-inspired designs
  3. Comet's Extravagance Green - this filament exhibits a mesmerizing color-changing effect, mirroring the way stars display various hues and brightness when observed from different angles.

PolyLite PLA is a sustainable bioplastic biodegradable in industrial conditions, characterized by ease of use, high printing quality, speed and reliability, as well as eco-friendly packaging. Furthermore, it prints just like standard PLA, making the process of creating customized 3D printed Christmas decorations easy and quick.

The recommended extrusion temperature for the Polymaker Christmas filaments is 190-230 ºC, the best bed temperature is 25-60 ºC, and the optimal printing speed is 40-60 mm/s. More instructions and information about both filament can be found in the Downloads section.

The Polymaker Christmas 2023 filaments come in cardboard spools and cardboard packaging, making the filaments even more environmentally-friendly. For 3D printing with carton spools, we highly recommend uisng the Polymaker spool adapter that helps reduce friction, dust build-up and spool deformations associated with cardboard spools. The STL and STEP files for printing your spool adapter can be found in the Downloads section.

PolyLite PLA should be properly stored to avoid the filament from getting humid. An ideal solution is to store the filament in a vacuum sealed packaging (with the Slice Engineering filament drying capsule for even better results), an intelligent filament container or in the PolyBox storage box that keeps the filament dry during printing.

The recommended printing settings for the PolyLite PLA filaments are a 190-230 ºC extrusion temperature at a speed of 40-60 mm/s, on a bed heated to 25-60 ºC, with the layer fan turned on. More printing instructions can be found in the technical datasheets in the Downloads section.

Complex structures can be 3D printed with the PolyLite PLA, and a support filament, for example the PolySupport filament of the PolyDissolve S1 filament. A 3D printer with at least two extruders is required to print with supports.
