This Halloween filament bundle from Polymaker contains three 1 kg spools of 1.75 mm PLA filament in vibrant colors: Pumpkin Patch Orange (orange), Ghastly Purple (purple), and Slime Green (green). The orange and purple filaments are made of the PolyTerra PLA with a marble gradient effect, and the green filament is a PolyLite PLA with a glowing effect.

Both PolyTerra PLA and PolyLite PLA are sustainable bioplastics biodegradable in industrial conditions, characterized by ease of use, high printing quality, speed and reliability, as well as eco-friendly packaging. Both these materials print just like standard PLA.

The recommended extrusion temperature is 190-230 ºC, the best bed temperature is 25-60 ºC, and the optimal printing speed is 30-70 mm/s for PolyTerra PLA and 40 - 60 mm/s for PolyLite PLA. More instructions and information about both filaments can be found in the Downloads section.

Furthermore, the Polymaker Halloween filaments come in cardboard spools and cardboard packaging, making the filaments even more environmentally-friendly. For 3D printing with carton spools, we highly recommend uisng the Polymaker spool adapter that helps reduce friction, dust build-up and spool deformations associated with cardboard spools. The STL and STEP files for printing your spool adapter can be found in the Downloads section.

In the Downloads section you will also find a PDF file with a link to STL files with spooky Halloween designs to 3D print with the Polymaker Halloween filaments.

PolyTerra PLA and PolyLite PLA should be properly stored to avoid the filament from getting humid. An ideal solution is to store the filament in a vacuum sealed packaging (with the Slice Engineering filament drying capsule for even better results), an intelligent filament container or in the PolyBox storage box that keeps the filament dry during printing. If the filament absorbs too much moisture, it should be dried at 55 ºC for 6 hours.

The recommended printing settings for the PolyTerra PLA and PolyLite PLA filaments are a 190-230 ºC extrusion temperature at a speed of 30-70 mm/s, on a bed heated to 25-60 ºC, with the layer fan turned on. More printing instructions can be found in the technical datasheets in the Downloads section.

Complex structures can be 3D printed with the PolyTerra PLA and PolyLite PLA, and a support filament, for example the PolySupport filament. A 3D printer with at least two extruders is required to print with supports.
