A company with drive for innovation

CEAD is a company of visionaries from the Netherlands. They developed and patented the large-scale CFAM technology. CFAM stands for Continuous Fiber Additive Manufacturing, and it uses thermoplastics combined with continuous glass or carbon fibers to 3D print reliable large-scale parts in a fast and sustainable fashion.

CEAD’s services and products

CEAD offers pilot projects and personalized large-scale 3D printing training to companies. Apart from that, in their portfolio they have standalone components for large-scale 3D printers, such as printbeds and extruders from the E series (E25, E40, E50) and S series (S25), mountable on robotic arms, CNC machines or the AM Flexbot. The AM Flexbot is a robot-based solutions that allows combining multiple processes (printing and CNC milling) into one smooth process. Another service CEAD offers are gantry structures for large-scale AM. Within that category, they offer the BEAD and the CFAM Prime machines. BEAD is a large-scale machine that provides 3D printing and CNC milling in one. The CFAM Prime is a machine that is designed to run 24/7 production of large or multiple parts without operator interference. It uses CEAD’s patented Continuous Fiber AM technology.

The revolutionary CFAM technology

CEAD’s technologies and products have numerous applications in the automotive, infrastructure, architecture, shipbuilding and aerospace industries. CEAD’s patented global CFAM 3D printing technology can be used to manufacture molds and tooling, and non-structural as well as structural end parts, such as bridges, air ducts or train front skirts.
