The PolyCore ASA-3012 pellets by Polymaker are made of ASA reinforced with 20 % of glass fiber. These pellets were developed specially for BAAM (Big Area Additive Manufacturing) and can be extruded with the help of equipment such as the CEAD AM Flexbot, the CEAD E25 extruder, the Mahor V4 pellet extruder, or the Dyze Pulsar extruder.
The PolyCore ASA-3012 pellets are characterized by excellent printability, low warping, great colorability and strong mechanical properties. Thanks to the materials superior weather resistance and UV stability, parts 3D printed with the PolyCore ASA-3012 pellets can be used outdoors, for example in big-scale architecture (bridges, horticulture, landscape) or furniture. What's more, this material will perform great in low-to-mid temperature tooling applications.

The proper storage of 3D printing materials is key to smooth extrusion, and great surface quality and mechanical properties of the 3D printed part. The PolyCore ASA-3012 pellets should be stored in a closed package in dry conditions at temperature below 50 ºC, protected from UV-light at all times. If the pellets absorb excess moisture, they should be dried for 4 hours at 80 ºC. The recommended processing temperature for the PolyCore ASA-3012 pellets is 210 - 230 ºC.
