TPE filament ideal for the creation of flexible and resistant parts.

Nanovia's 22D TPE filament is a 22D Shore hardness material, which enables 3D printing of flexible parts with significant inter-layer adhesion.

TPE is also known as thermoplastic rubber. It is the result of mixing polymers, a plastic as a base and rubber as an alloy, resulting in a material with thermoplastic and elastomeric properties. TPE is much cheaper and easier to form than conventional silicones and rubbers because, unlike the above, TPE does not require long production times or specialised facilities.

Nanovia TPE 22D allows the creation of flexible parts, making it an ideal material for shock and vibration absorbing components. It is also very easy to print.

Finally, it is recommended to use a direct extruder when printing as it is a flexible filament.

To ensure good printing conditions, drying at 50 °C for 4 hours or more is necessary when the reels have been exposed to humidity for a prolonged period of time.
