Bondtech LGX ACE Mosquito printhead

The LGX ACE Mosquito printhead is the result of a collaboration between Bondtech and Slice Engineering. It features Bondtech's LGX large gear extruder, and the Slice Engineering Mosquito bimetallic heatbreak and copper industrial grade hotblock. The complete list of elements includes:

• The LGX large gears extruder.
• The LGX ACE Mosquito hotend.

It must be kept in mind that no heater or thermistor are included in this printhead assembly.

With this printhead, the aim was to create an industrial-grade printhead that would work with rigid as well as soft and flexible materials, and the LGX ACE Mosquito printhead does just that. The LGX extruder's special design offers a short filament path, and the Slice Engineering technology ensures improved thermal performance and melt flow capacity. Furthermore, the Bondtech monolithic cold block and heatsink design guarantee increased heat transmission and dissipation (more efficient cooling).

The LGX ACE Mosquito printhead only supports 1.75 mm filament and is compatible with the Bondtech standard brass, standard coated brass, and CHT coated brass nozzles, as well as the Slice Engineering BridgeMaster copper nozzle and the vanadium steel nozzle for abrasive filaments. The LGX ACE Mosquito printhead is not compatible with the 3DSolex Matchless 1.75 mm nozzles.

Installing the LGX ACE Mosquito printhead has numerous advantages. Apart from an increased flow (and faster printing with flexible materials) and a wide range of printable materials, this printhead offers a more efficient cool-down, it is easy to install and allows for one-hand nozzle change.
