WASP Clay Kit 3.0 with LDM extruder, clay tank, and nozzles, compatible with professional 3D printers.

The WASP Clay Kit 3.0 includes a 3 liter tank for clay and ceramic pastes, with a 5 liter tank available on request for an additional fee. Unlike previous experimental models, which limited the printing of medium-sized parts due to their reduced capacity, this tank can be easily refilled or cleaned via the end caps. Inside, a piston with two 4 bar seals pushes the material through the 12 mm PTFE tube feeding the extruder, while the rear cap features a safety valve calibrated at 8 bar. This configuration allows air to escape upward, eliminating bubbles in the mixture that could interrupt the flow and compromise the print.

Thanks to the screw system of the LDM WASP Extruder 3.0, the material density is higher, reducing the time for the material to transition from liquid to solid and preventing collapse of printed parts. Both the screw and the tank chamber are easily replaceable in case of wear or damage, ensuring continuity and reliability in production.

The LDM WASP Extruder 3.0 is a professional extruder for dense fluid materials such as clay, ceramic, porcelain, alumina, zirconium, and advanced ceramics. It allows precise interruption and resumption of the flow, with retraction and flow control, and can be adapted to most 3D printers on the market, offering great versatility for digital production and artisanal self-production.

Installation on other printers is simple: print the support cover provided by WASP, connect the extruder to the wiring, and set the "steps per millimeter" parameter to 400 in the slicing software, compatible with Slic3r, Cura, and other programs. This makes the WASP Clay Kit ideal for professionals and enthusiasts seeking flexibility, precision, and reliability when printing dense materials.
