Exceptional technical performance in every print

Built with a high-rigidity aluminum and PMMA structure, the Delta WASP 2040 PRO achieves a perfect balance between strength and lightness. This robust design maintains mechanical stability even during prolonged processes, reducing vibrations and ensuring clean and uniform printing. Its build volume of Ø 200 × h 400 mm expands creative possibilities, allowing the production of large objects with exceptional detail thanks to a minimum layer resolution of 50 microns.

Speed is another strong point: it reaches a maximum printing speed of 500 mm/s, with movements up to 800 mm/s and an acceleration of 15,000 mm/s², placing it among the fastest 3D printers in its category. The heated bed up to 110 °C ensures optimal adhesion, while the automatic self-calibration system and precision-ground aluminum surface guarantee consistent results during hours of continuous work.

Compatible with 1.75 mm filaments, this printer supports a wide range of materials —including PLA, PETG, ABS, PA Carbon and ceramics—making it an ideal solution for both technical prototyping and functional production. Its WASP SPITFIRE RED extruder, equipped with interchangeable nozzles of 0.4 mm, 0.7 mm, and 1.2 mm, offers complete control over the speed and quality of each layer. For specialized applications, it includes the LDM WASP Extruder, designed for dense and ceramic materials, expanding experimentation and production possibilities.

Compatible with the WASP Clay Kit 3.0 accessory

The Delta WASP 2040 PRO can be easily expanded with the WASP Clay Kit 3.0, a complete high-density clay and ceramic material extrusion system that elevates 3D artisanal and technical printing to a new level. This kit includes the LDM WASP Extruder 3.0 —a professional extruder with flow and retraction control— and a 3-liter pressurized reservoir (expandable to 5 L upon request), designed to ensure a consistent, bubble-free flow thanks to its innovative air removal system and internal piston with high-pressure seals.

With this technology, the WASP Clay Kit 3.0 allows printing with clay, porcelain, alumina, zirconia, and advanced ceramics, achieving high-density parts, uninterrupted, and with excellent definition. The extruder screw system allows precise material flow control, preventing collapses and improving part stability during drying. Additionally, the kit is fully adaptable to other 3D printers via the printed mount and step-per-millimeter configuration (400 steps/mm).

Integrating the WASP Clay Kit 3.0 transforms the Delta WASP 2040 PRO into a hybrid and versatile 3D printer, capable of working with both thermoplastic materials and dense fluid mixtures, ideal for ceramic labs, art schools, design studios, and architectural workshops seeking to combine digital innovation with traditional craftsmanship.

Advanced technology that boosts productivity

Every component of the Delta WASP 2040 PRO is designed to optimize performance. Its innovative Suspended Bowden system reduces head inertia and improves stability during rapid movements, allowing high speeds without loss of precision. Additionally, the Resurrection System and Free Z System provide unique security by enabling interrupted print recovery and resuming work from a specific height, eliminating the risk of wasting hours of printing or material. A filament run-out sensor further ensures process continuity and maximum reliability in long-duration projects.

Industrial design and full compatibility

The compact design, measuring 49 × 44 × 87 cm and weighing 25 kg, makes it easy to integrate this printer into any professional environment. Its internal mechanics, based on steel-core belts, anodized aluminum guides, and nylon wheels, ensure exceptional durability and smooth movement even at maximum speed.

The user experience is intuitive and efficient: the printer operates autonomously via SD card and LCD screen, and is compatible with major operating systems —Windows, macOS, and Linux— as well as widely used slicing software: Simplify3D (official), Cura, and Slic3r. It accepts .STL, .OBJ, and .GCODE files, ensuring full compatibility with the most demanding design and engineering workflows.

Perfect balance between power, quality, and versatility

The true value of the Delta WASP 2040 PRO lies in its balance between professional performance and accessibility. Its ability to achieve high speeds without loss of detail, compatibility with technical and ceramic materials, and the option to incorporate the WASP Clay Kit 3.0 as an add-on module make it an ideal tool for continuous production environments, advanced education, innovation labs, and professional design studios. This printer redefines the standard of professional delta 3D printers, delivering precision, reliability, and creative freedom in every print.
