The PETG Standard HS filament by Rosa3D offers a printing experience akin to PLA, making it an ideal choice for both amateur and professional 3D printing enthusiasts. Known for its ease of use, this filament ensures precise details, excellent adhesion to the print bed, and a lack of noticeable odor during the printing process. Noteworthy for its low shrinkage, prints crafted with PETG Standard HS exhibit high chemical resistance, allowing for post-processing techniques such as sandblasting, drilling, sawing, grinding, cutting, and painting without compromising structural integrity.
Manufactured from raw materials approved for food contact (see Downloads), PETG Standard filament maintains a commitment to safety, although certification responsibility for food-related products lies with the final product manufacturer. This versatile filament finds applications in a range of uses, including prototypes, large-scale prints, housings/shades, and decorative elements. The wide range of available colors, including translucid options, makes the PETG Standard HS even more versatile for a wide range of projects.
Founded in 2018, Rosa3D is a leading Polish manufacturer of 3D printing filament, specializing in delivering top-tier quality for industrial, technical, large-format, and domestic applications. With ISO 9001:2015 certification, their experienced team and advanced machinery ensure meticulous control over material quality and production precision, boasting a monthly capacity of 70 tons. Beyond excellence in filament production, Rosa3D is committed to sustainability, adhering to ISO 14001:2015 principles.
PETG filament, known as polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified, is a widely used material in the realm of 3D printing, particularly favored for its commendable balance of mechanical properties and printing ease. This thermoplastic polymer exhibits high strength and durability, making it suitable for applications requiring robust end products. PETG is renowned for its transparency, providing a clear view of printed objects, and it boasts excellent chemical resistance, making it resilient to various solvents and chemicals. Additionally, its low shrinkage during printing ensures accurate and dimensionally stable results. The filament's versatility extends to its ability to be printed at relatively low temperatures, reducing the risk of warping and enhancing its compatibility with a broad range of FDM 3D printers. These attributes collectively position PETG as a go-to choice for professionals seeking reliable and high-performance 3D printing materials.
The eco-friendly refill format significantly reduces plastic usage and contributes to paving a way for sustainable 3D printing. In order to use this PETG Standard HS with a 3D printer, the filament must be wound onto the Rosa3D Masterspool, a smart solution designed specially for the Rosa3D filaments in refill format. This reusable masterspool is made of recycled PC and has an approximately 90 % lower CO2 carbon footprint compared to a standard plastic spool. The masterspool is also resistant to impact and heat, which makes it compatible with filament dryers, as well as AMS systems. Alternatively, solutions such as the F2P variable spool holder can be used.

The recommended printing temperature for the PETG Standard HS filament ranges between 220-250 ºC, and the best bed temperature is 60-80 ºC. The recommended part cooling fan setting is 0-60 %.
Proper storage of the PETG Standard HS filament is essential, as processing damp filament can lead to polymer chain degradation, fragility, poor layer adhesion, stringing, and oozing. It's best to store the filament in a sealed bag with desiccant or in a vacuum-sealed filament container.
Should the filament absorb excess humidity, it should be dried in a filament dryer for 4 hours at 60 ºC.
