Tarfuse ENVI 1 is an environmentally friendly 3D printing material developed and manufactured by Grupa Azoty. The base for ENVI 1 are renewable raw materials and the filament is fully biodegradable. This means that it is capable of decomposing in the environment in the presence of micro-organisms, leaving behind only natural and harmless substances such as water, CO2 and organic matter. These features make the Tarfuse ENVI 1 filament superior to pure PLA in terms of biodegradation speed and conditions, as well as the amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere.

As a 3D printing material, Tarfuse ENVI 1 is highly printable and offers excellent surface quality and detail, with outstanding interlayer adhesion and low linear shrinkage. The best applications fot this material are all kinds of prototypes, preview models, or advertising details.

The spool should be stored properly to avoid potential printing and part quality issues. It is recommended to store the spool in a tightly sealed plastic bag with a desiccant or in an intelligent filament container

This material should be printed at a temperature of 195-230 ºC on a bed heated to 50-70 ºC. A heated chamber is not required and the optimal printing speed is 30-60 mm/s. The recommended bed material is glass or a PC/PA surface with a PVA-type glue.
