IMPORTANT: Polymaker’s PolyTerra range has transitioned into Panchroma. The quality and colours remain identical; only the branding and packaging have changed. During this transition, you may receive either the new Panchroma packaging or the previous PolyTerra one.

The PLA Matte ReFill filament from the Panchroma collection offers a distinctive and elegant upgrade for 3D printing, providing both ease of use and outstanding aesthetic results. With a matte surface finish, this filament produces a smooth and refined appearance with minimal layer lines, making it ideal for creating high-quality prototypes and decorative objects with a sophisticated and subtle finish. PLA Matte ReFill is available in a variety of carefully selected colours, adding a discreet yet elegant touch to any project while maintaining reliable and easy print performance. This filament is also available in Muted, Pastel and Army colours.

PLA Matte is available in ReFill format (no spool), a more sustainable alternative that allows the reuse of previous spools or the use of a 3D-printed spool. Users can print their own Polymaker Master Spool free of charge. This solution helps reduce waste while maintaining the same quality and compatibility as the original filament.

Polymaker spools are compatible with advanced multimaterial systems, ensuring seamless and trouble-free integration in printers using these systems.

The Panchroma filament range stands out for its wide variety of colours, surface finishes and filament effects, all designed to ensure excellent printability and aesthetic results. Each colour and finish is formulated to offer consistent results, making PLA Matte an excellent choice for applications where visual quality and functionality are essential. This filament is ideal for designers seeking to produce prototypes or final products with a clean and professional appearance.

Printing with PLA Matte is simple, with an extrusion temperature range of 190-230 ºC and a bed temperature between 25-60 ºC. It supports printing speeds of up to 300 mm/s, offering greater flexibility for faster print times without sacrificing quality. The spool design includes a non-slip edge for smooth handling, especially when used with automated material systems such as Bambu Lab AMS, ensuring compatibility in both its standard and ReFill formats.

Note for Bambu Lab users

All products include print profiles optimised for BambuStudio, the dedicated software from Bambu Lab. Since many Bambu Lab users are new to 3D printing, preconfigured settings are provided that ensure high-quality results from the first print, without requiring prior experience. This allows both beginners and experts to fully benefit from Polymaker filaments, including the ReFill format, with complete confidence.

Like any 3D printing filament, the Panchroma PLA filaments should be stored properly in order to avoid their deterioration and, in consequence, extrusion problems and inferior print quality. The spool can be stored in an airtight plastic bag, in a resealable bag with a desiccant capsule, or in a smart filament container. If the filament has absorbed too much moisture, it must be dried before printing in a filament dryer for 6 hours at 55 ºC or in the PolyDryer solution. The recommended settings are setting 1 for Panchroma PLA Silk and others, and settings 1-3 for PLA Matte and Satin.

The Panchroma PLA filaments should be extruded at a temperature of 190-230 ºC on a bed heated to 25-60 ºC. It is recommended to use the cooling fan at 100% but a printer with a heated chamber is not needed. As far as the printing speed, it is recommended to use max. 200 mm/s for the PLA Silk and other Panchroma PLA varieties, max. 300 mm/s for the PLA Satin and Matte PLA, and max. 400 mm/s for CoPE.

Complex parts can be 3D printed with the Panchroma PLA filaments with the help of support filaments such as the PolySupport filament or the PolyDissolve S1 filament.

Panchroma PLA Glow and Panchroma PLA Luminous are glow-in-the-dark materials enriched with an abrasive additive, making a hardened nozzle essential for printing. These filaments should not be used in AMS systems with plastic gears or tubes due to their abrasive nature.

Extra Tools to Enhance the Printing Experience

To further facilitate the 3D printing experience, support tools such as app.polymaker.com, an interactive comparison tool for mechanical, technical, and color properties among different filaments, and wiki.polymaker.com, a quick and comprehensive guide on using our products and 3D printing recommendations, can be utilized.
