PrintDry Smart Vacuum Filament

PrintDry is a manufacturer of FDM 3D printing filament drying and storage products, renowned for its vacuum-sealed packaging and its PrintDry Pro filament dryer.

PrintDry's latest release is the Smart Filament Container. This innovative filament storage device vacuum seals at the touch of a button, preventing filament from absorbing moisture.

Excessive moisture in the filaments directly affects the print quality, but also affects the final mechanical properties of 3D printed parts. In addition, using filaments with moisture can oxidise certain elements of the printing equipment, such as the nozzle.

The smart filament container has a built-in vacuum pump and a rechargeable battery. It also has a reseal sensor inside, which constantly monitors the vacuum level and automatically activates the pump once the vacuum level drops, thus preventing leakage over an extended period of time and preventing the filaments from absorbing moisture.

The PrintDry smart filament container has two handles for easy holding and carrying and, thanks to its inner volume, can hold up to 3 spools of 200 mm diameter. The device includes a window through which the user can see how many spools are inside the container without having to open it.  

Thanks to products such as the PrintDry intelligent filament container, users can keep their filaments in perfect condition and free of moisture, enabling them to achieve optimum results in the printing process.
