The PC 275 filament from Spectrum is an exceptional material designed for 3D printing enthusiasts and professionals seeking top-tier performance. This professional-grade filament stands out due to its unmatched properties and technical specifications, making it an optimal choice for demanding applications across various industries.
The formulation of Spectrum PC 275 has been carefully modified to minimize the high shrinkage typical of polycarbonate-based materials and to enhance interlayer adhesion. These improvements ensure superior stability during the 3D printing process, enabling precise and accurate fabrication of complex components. Enhanced flow characteristics further support high-speed printing, boosting overall efficiency.
Engineered for the most challenging projects, PC 275 filament exhibits outstanding mechanical properties, including excellent tensile strength and high resistance to dynamic loads. Its exceptional thermal resistance, with a VICAT softening point of 150 ºC, places it well above standard 3D printing materials like PLA, PETG, or ABS, ensuring performance in high-temperature environments.
Thanks to its superior mechanical and thermal stability, Spectrum PC 275 is ideal for a wide range of professional applications. Designers, engineers, and industry experts can rely on it for functional prototyping, industrial modeling, end-use parts, automotive components, electronic enclosures, and sports equipment. Its combination of durability and precision guarantees success even in the most complex and demanding 3D printing projects.

Once opened, the PC 275 filament must be stored properly to prevent it from absorbing moisture from the air. Filament is best stored in a hermetically sealed bag with desiccant, in a vacuum-sealed container or in a smart filament container. If the filament absorbs too much moisture, it should be dried in a filament dryer for at least 5 hours at 120 ºC.
The manufacturer recommends printing PC 275 filament at 250-290 °C on a bed heated to 90-130 °C. It is recommended to print at a speed of 30-200 mm/s with the layer fan at 0-20%. In case of adhesion problems, products such as Magigoo PC can be applied to the printing bed. Although a heated chamber is not required for this filament, it is recommended to use it when big parts are printed to prevent warping.
It is strongly recommended to use standard safety equipment during printing and post-processing of 3D printed parts with PC 275 filament: safety goggles, gloves, breathing apparatus and protective clothing as required.
