The S300X 3D printer from Lynxter is a high-speed industrial IDEX filament 3D printer designed for demanding professional environments. With its dual independent print heads, it enhances productivity through advanced functions such as duplication, mirror printing, dual-material printing, and complex support generation. Its spacious build volume of 300 x 250 x 280 mm accommodates large projects while maintaining precision and reliability.

Engineered for compatibility with a wide range of high-performance thermoplastics, the S300X supports materials such as PEKK, PP, PETG-C, PLA, PA, TPE/TPU, HIPS, and PVA. Its capability to handle both brittle and flexible polymers makes it an ideal solution for industries requiring robust, high-quality components, including automotive, aerospace, and engineering sectors.

With exceptional printing speeds, the S300X delivers up to 1000 mm/s on the X and Y axes and 50 mm/s on the Z axis, coupled with accelerations of up to 10000 mm/s². Its output rate of 24 mm³/s with a 0.4 mm nozzle ensures efficient production, while a layer height ranging from 0.05 to 1 mm and resolutions of 12.5 μm (XY) and 1.0 μm (Z) guarantee precise detailing and surface finish.

The extrusion system supports temperatures up to 500 °C, enabling processing of advanced materials. A water-cooled print head and a build plate heated up to 160 °C ensure stability and adhesion during printing. The removable glass print surface is hot-swappable, while the actively heated chamber can go up to 80 °C and maintains optimal thermal conditions for high-performance thermoplastics.

To combat filament moisture issues, the S300X includes an integrated drying unit with active drying (20-60 ºC) and closed-loop storage. This feature ensures consistent material quality by preventing moisture-related defects such as stringing, adhesion loss, and porosity. The drying unit accommodates up to two 2 kg spools with a maximum spool diameter of 300 mm. For a safer and cleaner working environment, the printer features a closed chamber equipped with industrial-grade HEPA H14 and active carbon filtration. This system effectively neutralizes fine particles (larger than 0.3 microns) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), ensuring clean air within the workspace.

Automation features include print surface leveling, tool length calibration, and nozzle offset calibration, simplifying setup and ensuring consistent results. Job security measures such as filament runout detection and power failure recovery further increase operational reliability. Furthermore, the printer includes essential safety features for sensitive work environments such as restricted access, intellectual property protection, and operational traceability. The printer supports Ethernet connectivity for offline work, offers an open API, and includes a standalone touchscreen and web interface powered by customizable Lynxter firmware based on RepRap. As far as laminating software, the S300X printer is compatible with third-party software such as Simplify3D.
