The eTPU-95A filament from eSUN is a high-performance thermoplastic polyurethane known for its great flexibility and even better elasticity. It is capable of changing shape under external force and will bounce back to its original form once the force is removed. With an elongation at break of around 800% and a Shore hardness of 95 A, it offers a balance of toughness and resilience, making it comparable to the material used in shopping cart wheels.

This filament is available in a range of eye-catching colors, including translucent options, making it a versatile choice for many industries. Common applications include shoe parts like insoles, automotive components, machinery, electronic appliances, and medical prosthetics. It is also used for products like keyrings, watch bands, and mobile phone cases, where flexibility, durability, and aesthetics are important factors.

In addition to its impressive flexibility, eTPU-95A boasts several other valuable properties, including high tear resistance, wear resistance, and cut/scratch resistance. It is also highly resistant to chemicals such as oil and solvents, ensuring longevity in challenging environments. The filament’s weather resistance makes it suitable for outdoor applications, while its low long-term compression set ensures durability and sturdiness over time. With great impact resistance and resilience, eTPU-95A can withstand repeated stress and maintain its performance.

eTPU-95A is easy to print with, requiring minimal adjustments for optimal results. It experiences no overlaps, stringing, or clogging and exhibits low warping and good layer bonding. Thanks to its ultrahigh flow properties, it is compatible with high printing speeds, allowing for the quick production of large, complex, and accurate elastomer parts. This filament is compatible with both direct drive and Bowden-type FDM printers, such as the Ender 3 V3, Prusa XL or Raise3D E2, with a preference for direct drive printers to ensure the best performance.

To achieve optimal print quality with the eSUN filament, it is recommended to use the printer settings specified in the material's technical datasheet (Attachments).

Should the part not adhere properly to the print bed, it is recommended to use an adhesion product such as Magigoo, a solution designed specially for 3D printing.

Proper filament storage is essential for maintaining the quality of any filament. To prevent compromised print quality due to moisture absorption, the eSUN filaments should be stored in a sealed container with desiccant.

If the filament absorbs excess moisture, drying it before printing in a filament dryer according to the recommended material settings is recommended to restore its optimal printing properties.
