The ABS+ filament from eSUN is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic designed as an enhanced alternative to standard ABS. Its formulation improves upon conventional ABS by offering superior mechanical properties, including increased toughness, impact resistance, wear resistance, and heat resistance. This filament is available in many attractive colors suitable both for prototyping and final applications. AN additional benefit of this material is that, just like all ABS, parts printed with it can be easily drilled for assembly or treated with liquid polish obtain a smooth surface finish. Compatible with a wide range of FDM 3D printers (preferably with closed chamber), including popular models such as the Bambu Lab P1P, Voron 2.4, Raise3D Pro3, or Creality K2 Plus. Its wide printer compatibility ensures that both hobbyists and professionals can benefit from its advanced material properties across various 3D printing platforms.

The excellent printability of ABS+ sets it apart from traditional ABS. It emits low volatile organic compounds (VOCs), resulting in reduced odor and a more comfortable printing experience. With low shrinkage, the filament minimizes warping and cracking, even during the production of large-scale items. Additionally, it features consistent feeding, stable prints, and good layer bonding, ensuring high precision and an outstanding surface finish. To achieve optimal print quality with the eSUN filament, it is recommended to use the printer settings specified in the material's technical datasheet (Attachments).

Should the part not adhere properly to the print bed, it is recommended to use an adhesion product such as Magigoo, a solution designed specially for 3D printing.

Proper filament storage is essential for maintaining the quality of any filament. To prevent compromised print quality due to moisture absorption, the eSUN filaments should be stored in a sealed container with desiccant.

If the filament absorbs excess moisture, drying it before printing in a filament dryer according to the recommended material settings is recommended to restore its optimal printing properties.
