Creality is a manufacturer of professional 3D printers, 3D printing solutions and peripherals. They have some of the best selling 3D printers on the market, popular due to their great value for money, innovative solutions and user friendliness.

The Ender 3 S1 Plus 3D printer is part of the Ender series of FDM 3D printers. It is a new and improved version of the very successful Ender 3 S1. The Ender 3 S1 Plus can print at a speed of 150 mm/s and has a large print area of 300 x 300 x 300 mm. Some of the most outstanding features of this printer are automatic bed leveling, a simple user interface, a high temperature nozzle, the Sprite dual gear direct extruder, and much more. The Ender 3 S1 Plus comes 96 % pre-installed and it only takes 6 steps to finish the assembly.

The Ender 3 S1 Plus 3D printer is equipped with the lightweight (only 210 g) direct “Sprite” extruder with 80 N of extrusion force, developed by Creality themselves. The Sprite has chrome steel dual gears at a 1:3.5 ratio. This design helps push the filament through with great force to ensure smooth feeding without slipping. Compared to other similar extruders on the market, the “Sprite” extruder weighs about 30 % less and has less inertia. The Sprite extrusion system is compatible with flexible filaments like TPU. The dual Z-axis lead screws and dual motors ensure stable and more synchronous movement. This helps achieve higher printing quality and lowers the possibility of lines and ridges on the sides of the print.

Another great feature on the Ender 3 S1 Plus 3D printer is the high temperature nozzle that can reach up to 260 ºC. This makes it possible to 3D print materials such as PLA but also ABSPETG or TPU. The Ender 3 S1 Plus printing platform can reach a temperature of 100 ºC. The printing surface is composed of a magnetic sticker with a spring steel sheet on top, topped off with a PC coated surface.

The PC coating helps the models adhere better and the magnetic sheet facilitates easy part removal by simply gently bending the sheet. The CR-Touch 16-point automatic bed leveling feature, also developed by Creality, is easy to use and will always provide a perfectly leveled print surface thanks to the intelligent system that can automatically compensate for height differences.

The Ender 3 S1 Plus has a 32-bit silent mainboard, which ensures a relaxing and noise-free 3D printing experience (less than 50 dB). This makes the printer an ideal addition to an office, a lab, a household or even a classroom. The user interface is very straightforward and easy to use, and it is displayed on a 4.3” LCD touch screen. After 3 minutes of inactivity, the screen will dim, thus saving energy.

Another interesting feature of the Enfer 3 S1 Plus 3D printer is that it has a system that resumes the 3D print after a power loss event. Furthermore, the integrated filament sensor will detect when the filament breaks or has run out. These two features are a great help in the 3D printing workflow as they help to avoid material and time waste.

The Ender 3 S1 Plus kit not only comes with everything necessary to assemble and use the 3D printer but also with numerous useful accessories such as (among others) a spatula, pliers, wrenches, a screwdriver, a filament sample, a 0.4 mm nozzle, a nozzle cleaner, as well as a storage card and card reader.

The Ender 3 S1 Plus 3D printer is compatible with the Creality Slicer, Cura, Repetier-Host and Simplify3D slicing software, and the supported file formats are STL, OBJ, and AMF. The connectivity options are a type-C USB or an SD card and the user interface supports 9 languages. Furthermore, the Ender 3 S1 Plus can be extended with the optional Creality accessories such as the laser engraving extension, the LED light strip and the WiFi Box.
