PLA Extrafill

PLA Extrafill filament is a PLA filament of very high quality made in Europe for 3D printing by Fillamentum. PLA Extrafill 3D prints high quality figures that also boast great rigidity and resistance for a wide variety of projects. This filament is available in many attractive colors, in diameters of 1.75 mm or 2.85 mm, and in many formats.

The PLA Extrafill filaments can be printed easily on any FFF/FDM 3D printer, it doesn't release harmful gases and it is very easy to print with it since it is not essential to have hot printing base materials. These qualities make PLA one of the most widely used 3D printing today. Furthermore, PLA is a biodegradable plastic derived from natural resources, in particular is obtained from the extracted starch from corn, sugar beet and wheat. Moreover, PLA Extrafill is RoHS compliant and approved for food contact.

It must be kept in mind, however, that not all colors of PLA Extrafill are suitable for foor contact. To ensure the final product complies with the requirements, it must be tested according to the relevant regulations. These regulations establish the testing conditions, which are based on the intended use of the printed object (e.g., temperature, contact duration, type of food).
