Flexible build plates for the Prusa HT90 are designed to provide a durable and reliable surface, optimizing adhesion and making print removal easier. Ideal for technical materials such as PETG and polyamides, these sheets combine durability, ease of use, and simple maintenance, adapting to the demands of different filaments and ensuring consistent results with every print.

Textured powder-coated flexible sheet for Prusa HT90 printer

The textured powder-coated flexible sheet from Prusa is designed to provide a durable and reliable surface, ideal for a wide variety of materials and printing conditions.

This sheet attaches securely to the Prusa Pro HT90 base using high-temperature Curie magnets integrated into the 3D printer, allowing for quick and safe swapping of removable spring steel sheets.

Main features:

  • Powder coating directly on metal: This technique creates a surface resistant to mechanical and thermal damage. In case of accidental contact with the hot nozzle, heat dissipates quickly, preventing warping.
  • Visible texture on prints: The textured surface transfers to the printed model, offering a professional-looking finish with a defined pattern. This texture also hides surface scratches without affecting print quality.
  • Reliable adhesion: For materials like PETG, no additional adhesives are required. Parts release automatically when the sheet cools, simplifying post-processing.
  • Optimized first layer: The texture allows for greater contact and adhesion of the first layer. However, for PLA, a brim may be needed for prints with small contact areas.

Important: do not use acetone to clean the sheet, as it may damage the PEI texture and shorten the coating’s lifespan.

This sheet is a robust and functional option for users seeking consistent results and durability in 3D printing.

Powder-coated PA Nylon flexible sheet for Prusa HT90 printer

The powder-coated PA Nylon flexible sheet for Prusa HT90 has been specifically developed for working with technical polyamide filaments. Thanks to its specially treated surface, it offers significantly improved adhesion compared to conventional textured or satin sheets, which often struggle with this type of material.

This sheet attaches via high-temperature Curie magnets built into the heated bed of the Prusa Pro HT90, ensuring stability throughout the printing process.

Key advantages:

  • Adhesion adapted to polyamides: The surface finish is designed to compensate for the naturally low adhesion of materials like PA11, ensuring solid first-layer bonding.
  • Guaranteed compatibility: Ideal for PA11 and similar materials, as well as PETG. Not recommended for PLA, ABS, or other filaments, as they may detach during printing.
  • No need for adhesives: Glue sticks are not only unnecessary but may interfere with surface performance.
  • Simple yet specific maintenance: Clean only with pure water. In case of grease or persistent residues, water with a small amount of detergent may be used. IPA (isopropyl alcohol) or acetone will damage the coating and reduce the sheet’s lifespan.

Important: Over time, the surface finish may show visual changes, such as shinier or duller areas. This is an expected effect of continuous thermal exposure and does not impact printing performance. As with all build surfaces, this sheet is considered a consumable and is not covered under warranty except in cases of manufacturing defects detected upon receipt.

The powder-coated PA Nylon flexible sheet is a precise and reliable tool for users working with technical materials that require specific adhesion conditions.
