The PolyCore PETG pellets by Polymaker are available in as simple PETG (PETG-1000) or the 30 % glass fiber composite PETG-1013.

Both varieties were developed specially for BAAM (Big Area Additive Manufacturing) and can be extruded with the help of equipment such as the CEAD AM Flexbot, the CEAD E25 extruder, the Mahor V4 pellet extruder, or the Dyze Pulsar extruder.

The PolyCore PETG-1000 pellets are very easy to work with, have a unique surface finish, and are perfect for indoor applications, for example in the BAAM as well as MAAM (Medium Area Additive Manufacturing) of furniture, lighting or decoration.

The PolyCore PETG-1013 pellets, on the other hand, give the 3D printed parts excellent dimensional stability, overall mechanical strength, and weather resistance thanks to the added glass fibers. Thus, the PolyCore PETG-1013 pellets will be the perfect material for outdoor applications where the 3D printed part must withstand impact, stress, wear and tear, and rough handling

Proper storage of 3D printing materials is crucial for smooth extrusion and high surface quality and mechanical properties of the 3D printed part. PolyCore PETG pellets should be stored in a sealed package in dry conditions at a temperature below 50 °C, protected from UV light at all times. If the pellets absorb excess moisture, they should be dried for 8 hours at 70 °C (PETG-1000) or for 8-12 hours at 60-65 °C (PETG-1013). The recommended processing temperature for PolyCore PETG pellets is 210 to 230 °C.
