Tarfuse PA ESD NAT belongs to the group of technical 3D printing materials from Grupa Azoty. Tarfuse PA ESD NAT is a polyamide 6 material reinforced with high quality ground carbon fibers that give it antistatic properties, great mechanical properties, and low susceptibility to shrinkage/warping. Furthermore, the printing speed of PA ESD NAT is comparable to non-reinforced material nylon due to the relatively low fill rate.

Tarfuse PA ESD NAT is the perfect material for the 3D printing of functional and technical parts that need to perform well and maintain their dimensional stability. The antistatic properties make Tarfuse PA ESD NAT adequate for the production of tools, jigs and fixtures, and all sorts of parts that will be used in the manufacturing of electronic equipment. The antistatic properties will allow the electrostatic discharge evacuate safely along the surface of the part 3D printed with Tarfuse PA ESD NAT, thus helping avoid critical or latent damage to sensitive electronic equipment. Materials with antistatic properties are also highly recommended in environments with explosive atmospheres or in the aerospace industry, and the mechanical strength makes Tarfuse PA ESD NAT great for applications in the automotive sector.

The spool should be stored properly to avoid potential printing and part quality issues. It is recommended to store the spool in a tightly sealed plastic bag with a desiccant or in an intelligent filament container. If the filament absorbs excess moisture, it is recommended to dry the filament in a dryer with an air dehumidifier for 4-16 h at 80 ºC.

This material should be printed at a temperature of 270-300 ºC on a bed heated to 30-110 ºC. The recommended chamber temperature is 20-70 ºC  and the optimal printing speed is 30-60 mm/s. The recommended bed material is a PC mat or a PA mat with a PVA-type glue.
