Tarfuse PA CF10 belongs to the group of advanced 3D printing materials from Grupa Azoty. Tarfuse PA CF10 is a polyamide 6 material reinforced with high quality chopped carbon fibers. PA CF10 is characterized by high polymer crystallinity, high interlayer strength (excellent layer adhesion), elevated strength, and reduced water absorption. The addition of carbon fibers gives this material antistatic and electrically conductive properties.

Tarfuse PA CF10 is the perfect material for the 3D printing of functional and technical parts that need to perform well and maintain their dimensional stability in harsh environments. Furthermore, the antistatic properties make Tarfuse PA CF10 adequate for the production of tools, jigs and fixtures, and all sorts of parts that will be used in the manufacturing of electronic equipment. The antistatic properties will allow the electrostatic discharge evacuate safely along the surface of the part 3D printed with Tarfuse PA CF10, thus helping avoid critical or latent damage to sensitive electronic equipment. Materials with antistatic properties are also highly recommended in environments with explosive atmospheres or in the aerospace industry, and the mechanical strength makes Tarfuse PA CF10 great for applications in the automotive sector.

The spool should be stored properly to avoid potential printing and part quality issues. It is recommended to store the spool in a tightly sealed plastic bag with a desiccant or in an intelligent filament container. If the filament absorbs excess moisture, it is recommended to dry the filament in a dryer with an air dehumidifier for 4-16 h at 80 ºC.

This material should be printed at a temperature of 270-280 ºC on a bed heated to 30-110 ºC. The recommended chamber temperature is 20-90 ºC  and the optimal printing speed is 30-60 mm/s. The recommended bed material is glass, PC or a PA mat + PVA glue.
