H2S by BambuLab. Your personal manufacturing hub.

The Bambu Lab H2S is a large-format 3D printer designed for professional manufacturing environments. It functions as a personal manufacturing hub that integrates advanced FDM printing, laser cutting and engraving, and digital cutting, all on a single platform. With a build volume of 340 × 320 × 340 mm (the largest in the H series), it enables the production of sizable parts with high quality and detail, reducing the need to assemble multiple components. Its robust aluminum and cast steel frame ensures stability at high speed, supporting complex prints without loss of precision.

Equipped with multiple sensors and AI detection

Precision and performance

The H2S is equipped with a patented servo-PMSM extrusion system that performs 20,000 samples per second to dynamically regulate extruder torque. This architecture delivers up to 10 kg of extrusion force –67% more than a conventional stepper motor–, enabling high volumetric flow printing with complete confidence. The print head can move at speeds of up to 1,000 mm/s with accelerations of up to 20,000 mm/s², reducing print times by up to 30% compared to the X1 Carbon, without compromising quality.

Additionally, active vibration compensation cancels microvibrations and resonances in real time, ensuring smooth surfaces and sharp edges even at maximum speed. The optional Vision Encoder automatically corrects mechanical drift during calibration, maintaining continuous motion accuracy below 50 μm (regardless of travel distance) and guaranteeing precise fit for components designed with tight tolerances.

Material compatibility and heated chamber

Equipped with an all-metal hotend capable of reaching 350 °C and a thermally controlled chamber up to 65 °C, the H2S supports the full range of Bambu Lab engineering filaments. This includes PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA, BVOH, ABS, ASA, PC, PA (nylon), PET, PPS and their carbon- or glass-fiber-reinforced versions (e.g., PA-CF, PC-CF, etc.).

Thanks to closed-loop circulation fans and active chamber thermal control, warping and part deformation are minimized, improving interlayer adhesion. It is also compatible with Bambu Lab’s multi-material systems (AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT), enabling multicolor or multi-material printing with up to four spools simultaneously. The filament compartment includes active ventilation for drying, automatic spool rotation, and RFID synchronization that adjusts drying parameters based on filament type, optimizing print quality with moisture-sensitive materials.

Large build volume and robust design

The H2S offers the largest print volume in the H series: 340 × 320 × 340 mm. Its integrated die-cast aluminum alloy chassis provides a stable, rigid base, minimizing micro-twists and displacement during fast motion. This makes it ideal for printing large functional parts such as housings, industrial prototypes, or molds. It incorporates PEI-coated build plates (textured and smooth surfaces) with a heated bed up to 120 °C, suitable for technical materials and ensuring adhesion. The printer has external dimensions of 492 × 514 × 626 mm and an approximate weight of 30 kg, reflecting its industrial-grade construction and mechanical stability.

Integrated 3D printing, laser cutting and digital cutting

The Bambu Lab H2S is a versatile manufacturing platform. In addition to 3D printing, it includes a 10 W (455 nm) laser module for cutting and engraving materials such as plywood (up to 5 mm), acrylic, leather, or rubber with speed and precision. It integrates a BirdsEye top camera and a head-mounted camera enabling real-time spatial alignment, allowing users to preview the laser or cutting path directly on the material with approximately 0.3 mm accuracy.

The air assist system removes smoke and particles, keeping cut lines clean and avoiding stains. It also includes a digital cutting module with a blade (45° angle, adjustable pressure up to 600 gf, for flat materials such as paper, vinyl, leather) and a drawing module for automating sketches, outlines, or handwritten notes with repeatable precision. All these functions are managed through Bambu Suite software, which automatically organizes parts on the work sheet to optimize material usage and enables a seamless transition between 3D printing and laser or cutting operations.

Equipped with multiple sensors and detectors

Smart sensors and safety

The H2S integrates a comprehensive monitoring system with 23 sensors and 3 cameras, managed by artificial intelligence algorithms. It monitors in real time key parameters such as filament end, tension and consumption, nozzle, bed and chamber temperature, and the proper operation of each module (extruder, AMS, laser, etc.). The vision system detects filament jams, tangles ("spaghetti"), or hopper issues before they affect the print, preventing failures. Regarding safety, it is equipped with five flame sensors, detectors on the front door and top cover, and an emergency stop button for active protection. It also features laser safety glass (integrated laser protection) and a high-efficiency air filtration system (G3 pre-filter, HEPA H12 filter, and activated carbon) to remove particles and odors. Before each job, it automatically checks the chamber and build plate for debris, ensuring the integrity of the printing environment.

Ease of use and connectivity

The design of the H2S optimizes operability in professional environments. Nozzles can be swapped quickly without tools or extensive recalibration, simplifying maintenance and experimentation with different diameters (0.2–0.8 mm). Its 5-inch color touchscreen (720×1280) provides an intuitive interface for local control, while Bambu Studio software (compatible with Windows, MacOS, Linux) manages model preparation. It supports remote control via Wi-Fi or USB, operating either in the cloud with the Bambu Handy mobile app or in offline mode for security-sensitive environments. Developer mode unlocks access to the MQTT port, enabling seamless integration with third-party software or process automation. Thanks to active motor noise cancellation and optimized airflow design, it operates at a noise level below 50 dB, ideal for offices or shared labs without causing disturbances.

With its ability to print, engrave, and cut, plus drawing and cutting, it is an ideal tool

Professional and industrial applications

Thanks to its combination of large volume, extreme precision, and advanced materials, the Bambu Lab H2S is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. It is used for manufacturing full-scale prototypes, custom tooling, and high-strength end-use parts in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, and mechanical engineering. The multi-material and multicolor capability enables the creation of detailed architectural models, multi-filament product housings, and customized components.
