The kit includes all the elements required to start cutting and drawing accurately on a wide range of materials without the need for additional accessories (although for certain calibration functions, the Birds Eye Camera is recommended in combination with some modules).

Verify compatibility: this kit is specifically designed for printers in the Bambu Lab H2 series (for example H2D and H2S). Ensure that the printer belongs to this series before installation.
Pre-cleaning of the platform: before installing the Cutting Platform with its mats (StrongGrip & LightGrip), clean the original printer surface to ensure uniform adhesion and avoid residues on the material to be cut.
Correct mat selection: choose the appropriate mat (StrongGrip or LightGrip) depending on the material to be cut: resistant materials may require StrongGrip, while delicate materials are better suited to LightGrip.
Use of blades and tools: carefully install fine blades (Fine Point Blade) and use the Weeding Tool to precisely remove internal cutouts without damaging the material.
Quick mode switching: the module allows easy switching between cutting and drawing/writing thanks to the included pen holder, enabling mixed projects without complex hardware changes.
System calibration: when used together with the Birds Eye Camera and/or the laser module (when available), follow Bambu Lab calibration guides to accurately align materials and tools within the workspace.
Material suitability: use materials compatible with fine blades and firmly adhered to the mat; avoid materials that are too thick or rigid and exceed cutting capacity (very different from laser or CNC systems).
Test cuts: before running final jobs, perform test cuts on material scraps to adjust pressure and cutting speed according to the rigidity and thickness of each material.
Blade storage: keep blades in a dry and safe place when not in use, and replace them if wear or reduced cutting performance is observed to maintain accuracy.

This kit not only adds cutting functionality but also enables a hybrid creation workflow, where the same H2 system can print, cut, and draw, turning it into a versatile tool for prototyping, design, and production of customized parts or labels.
