The new Prusa CORE One L is the most ambitious 3D printer in Prusa Research’s professional range. Designed for the production of large, precise parts, this large-format CoreXY machine combines thermal innovation, industrial reliability, and a compact design.

Its 300×300×330 mm print volume offers nearly double the capacity of its predecessor without compromising ergonomics. Thanks to its new cast aluminum heated bed, a homogeneous temperature is maintained across the entire surface (variations below 2%), ensuring perfect adhesion even for technical materials.

The AC convection ventilation and active air circulation system, using dual fans integrated beneath the bed, speeds up chamber heating up to 60 °C uniformly, eliminating cold spots and minimizing warping. Ideal for demanding polymers such as PC-ABS or PA12-CF.

The fully enclosed design with magnetic panels enhances thermal stability and printing safety. Inside, flexible filament management has been optimized through a new loading lever that prevents jams, making it easier to print with materials such as TPU 98A.

The extrusion system features the Nextruder extruder with 360° cooling, allowing overhangs up to 75°, while the Input Shaper technology maintains print quality even at high speeds. Technical materials can be printed without cracks or corner lifting, and filament loading is simplified via a flexible mode with a physical switch and dual sensors. The first layer calibration is fully automatic using a load cell, mesh bed leveling, and phase stepping; additionally, GPIO port and accelerometer compatibility make it a versatile platform for industrial environments.

Its electronics are based on a 32-bit board (xBuddy with STM32), Trinamic 2130 drivers, and 0.9° stepper motors, ensuring precision and control. The direct extruder, compatible with the E3D V6 module via adapter, includes 10:1 planetary gears, an all-metal hotend, and a high-performance turbine fan with a quick-swap nozzle system.

Factory-calibrated with two nozzles (one high-flow CHT brass and one wear-resistant, both 0.4 mm), this printer is optimized for print farms with minimal downtime and will be able to incorporate the MMU3 multi-filament printing system in early 2026.

Prusa3D also offers the Critical Infrastructure Edition, which places special emphasis on data security and process integrity. It includes a custom mainboard without Wi-Fi or wireless circuitry, no camera, and comes with a certified encrypted USB drive to ensure a fully offline workflow — ideal for environments where security is essential.
