The ASA 275 Glow-in-the-Dark filament is a versatile, professional material designed by Spectrum for desktop 3D printing, combining the durability of ASA 275 with a unique phosphorescent effect. The material has been specially modified to enhance flexibility, improve flow properties, reduce shrinkage, and increase layer adhesion. The introduction of glow-in-the-dark pigments gives the filament the ability to emit a soft glow after being exposed to light, making it ideal for projects that require both functionality and a striking visual effect.

One of the major benefits of Spectrum ASA 275 Glow-in-the-Dark is its ease of use. Its printing parameters are optimized to be nearly as simple as those of PLA, allowing for smooth prints with minimal risk of deformation, even for large models (closed chamber recommended). It can be printed at speeds of up to 200 mm/s without compromising quality, and is compatible with desktop FDM printers, including those without a heated chamber. This ensures reliable results, with excellent layer adhesion and precise prints.

What's more, this filament’s resistance to UV radiation and various weather conditions makes it perfect for outdoor and functional applications. ASA 275 Glow-in-the-Dark is ideal for creating prototypes, production tools, and custom components that need to endure changing weather. Its glowing properties also make it excellent for decorative elements, safety markings, or objects that need to be visible in low light. Whether for outdoor exposure resistance or creative designs, Spectrum ASA 275 Glow-in-the-Dark adds both practicality and visual appeal to any project.

Once opened, the Spectrum filaments must be stored properly to prevent moisture absorption from the air. Filament is best stored in a hermetically sealed bag with desiccant, in a vacuum-sealed container or in a smart filament container. If the filament absorbs too much moisture, it should be dried in a filament dryer in accordance with the settings recommended for the material in question.

In order to avoid extrusion problems and obtain high quality parts with the Spectrum filaments, it is highly recommended to use the printing parameters (extrusion temperature, bed temperature, printing speed, fan settings) provided in each material's respective technical datasheet. It is also crucial to follow any other recommendations such as the use of an abrasion-resistant nozzle. The datasheets can be found in the Attachments section.

It is strongly recommended to use standard safety equipment during printing and post-processing of parts 3D printed with Spectrum filaments: safety goggles, gloves, breathing apparatus and protective clothing as required.
