Designed for ease of use, the Filament Connector FC01 comes with an intuitive interface, making it accessible to both beginners and experienced users. The fusion process is quick, taking only 10-15 seconds to complete. Additionally, the built-in display screen provides real-time monitoring of the fusion process, including temperature updates, ensuring users are always informed.

The Filament Connector comes with a USB cable for connectivity as well a bag of PTFE sleeves (about 200 pieces). The PTFE sleeves provide thermal insulation and protect the filament from sticking to the hot surfaces during the fusion process, ensuring smooth material flow and consistent results. Efficient and safe

Efficiency and safety are at the core of the FC01’s design. The device heats up to 185 ºC in just three minutes, with temperature accuracy maintained within ±3 ºC for reliable operation.

To use the SUNLU Filament Connector FC01, begin by ensuring the filament is dry to achieve a strong bond. To dry your filament you can use the Sunlu S2 or S4 filament dryers. Read our blog post on how to properly store filaments to learn more about how to keep your materials in optimal conditions.

Insert the 1.75 mm diameter filament (the hole size is 2.2 mm) into the device carefully, avoiding contact with the black snap part, which can reach temperatures between 50 ºC and 100 ºC.

Once powered on, the machine heats to the preset temperature based on the selected material. Always disconnect the power when not in use to prevent overheating or fire risks. Store the Filament Connector in temperatures above 10 ºC to avoid performance issues or damage. Handle it carefully during use, avoiding contact with heated parts for a safe and efficient experience.
