These ABS pellets by Kai Parthy are an FGF 3D printing material to be used for direct extrusion or filament production. The Kai Parthy ABS pellets have a natural color and are made from the Terez 5010 ABS as the base material. The ABS pellets have a tensile strength of 46.3 MPa and a Vicat softening temperature of 97 ºC.
Along with PLA, ABS is one of the most common 3D printing materials. It is characterized by great mechanical strength, chemical resistance and resistance to high as well as low temperatures. Colorants can be added directly to the Kai Parthy ABS pellets to achieve personalized colors of the 3D printed parts or the fabricated filament.
A unique feature of this material is the very small particle size of 0.10-0.50 mm, which makes the pellets look like powder. Nevertheless, these ABS pellets are meant for FGF 3D printing and cannot be used on SLS 3D printing equipment at the risk of damaging the SLS 3D printer.
The best equipment for the processing of the Kai Parthy ABS pellets is the Mahor V4 pellet extruder or the Tumaker 3D printers for direct extrusion. It is also possible to make filament from the ABS pellets with the help of the Felfil EVO extruder.

It is very important to store ABS pellets in an airtight bag to prevent them from absorbing moisture from the environment before use. If the pellets have moisture in them, the resulting parts or filament may contain small imperfections. Once the filament has been manufactured using ABS pellets, it is also recommended to store the filament properly.
