The Photon Ultra is a DLP resin 3D printer from the Anycubic portfolio of high quality affordable but capable printers for domestic use. Photon Ultra stands out due to its high precision, fast printing speed, long-term durability and energy efficiency. Photon Ultra only consumes about 12 W of power, works very quietly, and offers about 20000 hours of reliable continuous work at speeds of up to 60 mm/h.

The Photon Ultra 3D printer is a DLP resin printer that offers superior level of detail in comparison with LCD printers. A DLP projector can deliver a highly uniform (up to 90 %) and concentrated light beam only to places where resin needs to be cured. This ensures incredibly crisp detail without blurry edges or light leaks.

One of the key advantages offered by the Photon Ultra 3D printer is that its light source doesn't require being replaced as often as in LCD printers. The DLP technology prolongs the lifespan of the light source to over 20000 hours, 10 times more than any LCD monochrome screen. This means the user can enjoy impeccable detail and reliable printing for much longer without having to replace the printer's screen.

The Photon Ultra 3D printer is a sustainable and efficient 3D printer for one more reason. Its maximum power consumption is as low as 12 W. This is approximately how much a standard light bulb consumes, and only 20 % of what LCD 3D printers usually consume.

Thanks to the advanced optics engine used in the Photon Ultra 3D printer, very fast printing speeds can be achieves. Thus, Photon Ultra speeds up the printing process to just 1.5 seconds per layer, even faster than the 2.5 seconds per layer offered by Photon D2. This means that Photon Ultra can print up to 6 cm per hour, surpassing the original Photon printer's 2 cm per hour.

Successful print are also ensured by the implementation of a specially designed laser-engraved printing platform. The checkboard pattern enhances adhesion of the model to the build plate, thus increasing success rate.

To make Photon Ultra truly safe for any environment, Anycubic has equipped it with a detachable upper cover constructed from a material that effectively shields against 99.95% of UV rays. This transparent cover enables users to securely monitor the printing process.

Anycubic's 3D printing equipment stands out for its ease of use and is aimed at home use. For this reason, the manufacturer provides the user with its own laminating software, Photon Workshop, which has a multitude of functions to facilitate and speed up the process of laminating models. The control panel of the Photon Ultra printer is a 2.8" TFT color touchscreen with an upgraded, simplified and very intuitive user interface. Photon Ultra offers USB connectivity.
