The Sonic Mighty 8K resin LCD 3D printer is a true achievement in terms of compact size, a large build volume, and detail and precision at the same time. It has a 10" 8K mono-LCD screen with a Light Projection LED Module light source. The light source ensures consistent UV projection that cures the resin evenly. The XY resolution of 28 µm and the build volume of 21.8 x 12.3 x 23.5 cm allow the user to achieve models of significant size with astounding detail.

A trademark feature of all Phrozen 3D printers is their ease of use and an intuitive interface. The user interface of the Sonic Mighty 8K 3D printer is a 5" touch screen and the printer connects through a USB port, Ethernet and WiFi. The slicer software for the Sonic Mighty 8K is the CHITUBOX software, version V2.0 or higher. The user should make sure that the printing environment is dry and well ventilated, and that the Sonic Mighty 8K printer is placed on a flat surface, out of direct sunlight. User safety is of utmost importance, so in order to safely 3D print with the Sonic Mighty 8K printer, gloves, a mask, protective goggles and long sleeved clothes should be used whenever resin is handled.

Sanitizing alcohol and tissue paper can be used to clean the resin vat and the build plate of the Sonic Mighty 8K printer. Proper lubrication is crucial for the proper functioning of the axes. The Z-axis T-screw (previously wiped with a dry tissue or cloth) should be lubricated with SuperLube by Loctite or other similar product.

The user manual (Downloads section) should be studied before the Sonic Mighty 8K 3D printer is installed and used for the first time.
