The Mini 8K 3D printer from the Sonic series by Phrozen is a desktop size resin LCD 3D printer with an XY resolution of 22 µm (1152 ppi). This ultra high resolution combined with a 7.1" screen and an 18 cm Z-axis allows for achieving incredible precision and intricate detail on very small objects.

Another feature contributing to the high resolution of models is the linear projection LED module which increases light uniformity, thus contributing to the sharpness of the models 3D printed on the Sonic Mini 8K 3D printer.

The dual linear rails on the Sonic Mini 8K resin printer assure high quality and extreme stability. The Sonic Mini 8K 3D printer is very user friendly and intuitive, which is the aim Phrozen has set for all their products. The user interface is a 3.5" touch panel and the design can be loaded through a USB port (the printer comes with a toolbox containing a USB flash drive). The slicer software the Sonic Mini 8K works with is the CHITUBOX software, version V1.9.0 or above.

The Sonic Mini 8K printer should be placed in a dry and well ventilated environment on a flat surface. Direct exposure to sunlight should be avoided. As far as user safety, gloves, a mask, protective goggles and long sleeved clothes should be worn when handling resin.

The printer, the resin vat and the build plate can be cleaned with sanitizing alcohol and tissue paper. The Z-axis T-screw should be first dry cleaned and then lubricated to ensure smooth operation, for example with SuperLube by Loctite.
