Variety and experience

Smart Materials is a Spanish company founded in 2014 by specialists in polymers with more than 20 years of experience. It has a wide range of fundamental 3D printing materials both for hobbyistic uses, as well as prototyping or even functional part manufacturing. Within the conventional materials have PLA and ABS of great quality and variety of colors, finishes, and properties. As far technical applications, Smart Materials offers materials widely used in the industry, such as PETG, PP, PA, HIPS, TPU. All the Smart Materials filaments is manufactured with a great control of the diameter geometry.

Sustainable development

Smart Materials offers some of their materials in large formats, for example 3.3 kg spools or even 8 kg spools. This results in numerous benefits not only in terms of the material's cost efficiency in the long run, but also in reduced downtime and more consistent print quality due to less frequent spool changes, as well as in environmental sustainability due to a smaller amount of packaging used (ergonomic cardboard bag and recyclable plastic). To further increase the brand's commitment to sustainability, Smart Materials uses their own management system optimized for their needs, which allows them to reduce the environmental impact of the products and energy consumption in the manufacturing processes.
