The Custom Resin is a solution developed by Nexa 3D to give the users of the Nexa 3D printers access to the open materials platform. With the help of the Custom Resin cartridge and the NexaX Pro software, the user can unlock the option of using third-party resins on the ultrafast 4K XiP 3D printer. It should be kept in mind that the Custom Resin cartridge will only work with the Pro version of the NexaX software.
The Custom Resin cartridge operates via gravity-fed resin dispensing and NFC technology just like all Nexa 3D resins. Once inserted into the XiP printer, the cartridge communicates with the printer and NexaX software to open and manage custom material versioning.
This solution will enable the users of the XiP 3D printer to fully explore the possibilities offered by the Nexa 3D ecosystem and print at ultrafast speeds with materials from brands such as BASF, Henkel and Keyprint, thus challenging the limitations of traditional SLA printing, achieving faster turnaround times and increasing productivity by up to 20 times.
