UNIZ 3D printers have revolutionised resin 3D printer technology with a new way of working. The basis of operation of these resin 3D printers is LED-LCD technology. This technology is in addition to other existing resin 3D printing technologies such as SLA and DLP.
UNIZ 3D printers have a high print volume and are much faster than other resin 3D printers. In addition, UNIZ has a wide range of materials, among which zMud resin can be found.
zMud resin is a resin developed to provide excellent print quality and detail, as well as an incredible surface finish thanks to its matte finish.
In terms of mechanical properties, this resin combines stiffness and hardness, making it ideal for decorative applications or for the artistic sector.
Manufacturing parts with zMud resin requires a 3D printer with a wavelength of 385/405 nm, making it compatible with a wide range of LED-LCD 3D printers. In addition, to facilitate the printing of this material and speed up the printing process, UNIZ has included the printing parameters of zMud in its UNIZ IBEE 3D printer. In this way, the user does not have to change any parameters to achieve optimal results when using this resin.
The zMUD bottle has a volume of 500 ml. In contrast to other UNIZ resins, this resin does not have a suction operation system.
Due to its characteristics and ease of printing, this material is ideal for the production of decorative pieces, figures or sculptures.

Once an impression is finished, the piece should be removed from the base. Then the piece is immersed in IPA to remove the uncured resin from the outer walls of the piece. After that time, pressurized air must be applied on the piece until it is completely dry. To achieve the maximum properties that the zABS resin can provide, it is necessary to cure the resin in a curing center (Form Cure) having a wavelength of 405 nm.
Before removing parts from the manufacturing base, the user must be equipped with a series of safety measures. It is recommended the use of gloves to prevent the resin and alcohol from coming into contact with the skin, it is also crucial to use safety glasses for the drops that may originate during the washing of the pieces.
