Heating tube specifically designed for the Direct Air System (DAS) of the 3D printer CreatBot PEEK-300. This is an original CreatBot replacement that generates the heat required for the controlled annealing process during printing, reaching temperatures of up to 200 °C with precision and efficiency.

This component is essential for the DAS, CreatBot’s patented technology that performs instant, real-time adjustable annealing, eliminating warping and cracking in large parts printed with high-performance materials such as PEEK, PEKK, or Ultem. It improves the internal crystallization of the parts, optimizes toughness and mechanical strength according to material requirements, and ensures high-quality prints without the need for post-processing in an oven.

The heater module of the Direct Annealing System (DAS) in the CreatBot PEEK‑300 3D printer is specifically designed to generate the necessary heat during the controlled annealing process of parts while printing. This instantaneous annealing optimizes internal crystallinity and mechanical properties of technical materials such as PEEK, PEKK, or ULTEM, reducing warping and eliminating the need for post-print oven treatments.

The heater in this module must operate with precision and stability to ensure that the annealing temperature (up to approximately 200 °C) aligns with DAS process requirements and contributes to the final quality of the parts.

  • Compatibility verification: using the original heater or one specifically designed for the PEEK‑300 DAS system ensures that power, dimensions, and thermal characteristics match system specifications.
  • Careful installation: when replacing the DAS module heater, ensure that the heating tube is properly seated in its thermal housing to prevent heat loss or inaccurate readings due to poor thermal transfer.
  • Stable thermal control: verify that after installation, the DAS module reaches and maintains the set annealing temperature without excessive fluctuations, which could affect annealing quality and part strength.
  • Connection check: ensure that the heater’s electrical wires and connectors are secure, free of corrosion or wear, to prevent intermittent failures or temperature spikes.
  • Preliminary test: after any replacement or intervention, perform a controlled DAS heating test before long prints to verify thermal response and calibrate if necessary.
  • Safety and cooling: handle the module only when it is completely cool and always follow the manufacturer’s instructions to avoid burns or damage to nearby components.
