Maximum Stiffness, Superior Strength, and Dimensional Accuracy

Reinforced with carbon fiber, this filament significantly boosts elastic modulus and part stiffness, resulting in reduced bending, higher impact resistance, and better fatigue performance. As a result, CarbonX™ PETG+CF is a premium alternative to ABS, ASA, or standard PETG when precision, durability, and structural reliability are required for industrial-grade applications.

Its amorphous structure delivers minimal warping and nearly isotropic shrinkage, ensuring precise dimensions for large-format prints, tight-tolerance parts, and complex geometries.

Reliable Technical Printing, Low Odor, and Minimal Moisture Absorption

This carbon fiber PETG filament for professional 3D printing offers predictable extrusion behavior. With moisture absorption up to three times lower than ABS, it reduces bubbles, stringing, and surface defects, enhancing print quality and repeatability.

The very low odor during printing makes it ideal for workshops, technical studios, and enclosed spaces. Its wide temperature range of 230°C to 270°C ensures compatibility with most professional and desktop 3D printers, delivering excellent layer adhesion, smooth extrusion, and clean surfaces with minimal post-processing.

Certified Quality and Premium Manufacturing by 3DXTECH

3DXTECH, a specialist in advanced 3D printing materials, manufactures CarbonX™ PETG+CF under strict quality control and ISO 9001:2015 certified processes, guaranteeing consistent dimensions, precise tolerances, and uniform performance across all spools. This certification ensures industrial reliability and repeatable results in professional environments.

Using premium raw materials and engineering-grade carbon fiber, CarbonX™ PETG+CF ranks among high-performance composite filaments designed to replace machined parts with 3D-printed solutions without compromising strength, stability, or surface finish.

Industrial and Engineering Applications for Carbon-Reinforced PETG

Its combination of lightweight design, stiffness, and thermal resistance makes this filament ideal for structural components, manufacturing jigs, robotics, automotive parts, drones, technical supports, templates, enclosures, and functional end-use parts. Weight reduction without sacrificing strength makes it a strategic choice for industries prioritizing efficiency, durability, and mechanical performance.

Chemical resistance

Carbon fiber PETG is a technical and abrasive material that requires proper setup to protect the 3D printer and ensure strong, precise parts. The use of a hardened steel nozzle with a minimum diameter of 0.4 mm is recommended, as carbon fibers accelerate the wear of brass nozzles and extruder components.

For stable extrusion and proper layer adhesion, it is advisable to work with temperatures between 230 °C and 260 °C at the hotend and 70 °C to 90 °C on the heated bed. Moderate cooling helps maintain material integrity and improve mechanical properties. A heated chamber is not required, although it can provide greater thermal stability.

Layer heights of 0.25 mm or higher promote consistent compound flow and reduce clogging. Additionally, to prevent moisture-related defects, it is recommended to dry the filament at 65 °C for 4 hours before printing, ensuring clean finishes and consistent results.
