Raise3D presents its innovative SLS RMS220 system. This is a complete package, designed to meet the needs of mass production with a combination of high performance, efficiency, and optimized costs. This system is composed of three key components: the RMS220 SLS, which is the main printer for manufacturing high-performance polymer parts; the C220-P cleaning station, which allows for efficient and fast cleaning of printed parts; and the 220 Build Unit, which expands production possibilities with its build volume of 220 x 220 x 350 mm. Together, these elements offer a robust and efficient solution for manufacturing quality parts in large volumes.

The RMS220 system is designed to overcome production bottlenecks. It has a daily printing capacity of 5 kg, a fast scanning speed, and a practical powder replacement system that reduces downtime. In addition, its automatic temperature control system and high-power fiber laser (75W) ensure consistent quality in every batch. The RMS220 is available in two versions: the RMS220 3D printer (which includes one 220 build unit) or the RMS220 System (RM220 3D printer + 220 Build Unit + C220-P Cleaning Station). This new printing system from Raise3D comes after ten years of developing FDM and DLP technologies. In this way, the company incorporates an industrial printer that expands the offering within the SLS sector.

The RMS220 incorporates Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) technology and is equipped with a high-power 75 W fiber laser and a high-precision galvo system, capable of reaching a scanning speed of up to 30,000 mm/s. This advanced system allows it to print at a speed of up to 2.2 L/h, using a packing density of 20%.

Thanks to the four-zone infrared heating system with automatic calibration, the printer maintains uniform thermal control that ensures consistent results, even in large batches. It offers a dimensional accuracy of ±0.2 mm and the ability to print walls with a minimum thickness of 0.5 mm, ideal for industrial sectors that require functional parts with strict tolerances.

Large Build Volume and Agile Batch Production in a Compact Design

One of the great advantages of the RMS220 is its build volume of 220 x 220 x 350 mm, with a total of 9 L, which allows it to cover a wide range of applications. This is ideal for producing both small batches and larger parts, with a maximum of 5 kg/day using PA12.

Efficient Post-Processing with the C220-P Station

The Raise3D C220-P cleaning station has been designed to offer a comprehensive and efficient solution for 3D printing processes in industrial environments. Seamlessly integrated with the RMS220 series and the 220 Build Unit, this station covers the entire powder-related workflow, from material preparation before printing to cleaning and recycling the used powder after printing. This streamlines production processes and ensures a cleaner and more sustainable process.

The C220-P station features separate hoppers for fresh and used powder, each with a capacity of 20 liters, as well as RFID technology for automatic material tracking. This system improves traceability and reduces exposure to powder, optimizing the complete cycle of production and recovery of unsintered material.

Another of the most outstanding features of the C220-P is its intelligent purification system, which ensures a safe and dust-free working environment. Thanks to its powerful active ventilation system and HEPA+ filter, dust is effectively removed, creating a healthier workspace for operators.

In addition, the C220-P comes with a compact design of 1384 x 823 x 1740 mm, making it ideal for integration into different types of industrial spaces without taking up too much room. Optimized Workflow

Step 1: Configuration

ideaMaker software is used to import files, optimize model placement and infill density, shorten printing time, and reduce material waste.

Step 2: High-Speed Printing

Preheating begins during the slicing process and reaches printing temperature in 20 minutes. Equipped with a high-power 75W laser, the RMS reaches a printing speed of 2.2 L/h.

Step 3: External Cooling and Quick Replacement

The 220 Build Unit can cool to <100ºC in less than 30 minutes and be removed from the printer, while a second build unit is placed to continue the production process.

Step 4: Post-processing and Efficient Operation

The Raise3D C220-P cleaning station integrates semi-automated processes for separation, recovery, and powder preparation. Each printing cycle requires only between 20 and 45 minutes of manual operation. One operator can process more than 50 kg of parts per shift.
