500W Laser and Optimized Cost per Part

The MPRINTpro features a powerful 500W fiber laser capable of producing metal components at high speed, density, and dimensional accuracy. The beam quality is concentrated in an 80 µm focus diameter, offering fine details and functional geometries with precise tolerances. The process supports layer heights from 20 µm to 120 µm, allowing a balance between extreme precision or rapid manufacturing depending on production needs. Its permanent filtration system, developed together with Herding Filtertechnik, enables continuous operation during long shifts without intervention, drastically reducing cost per part and increasing profitability in serial production, high repeatability, and specialized materials.

MPUREpro: High-Efficiency Unpacking and Sieving

The MPUREpro unpacking and sieving station provides a fast and safe process by transporting powder via vacuum to its automatic sieving station. This integration streamlines the handling of large volumes of metal powder, increases productivity, and includes storage for six cartridges and an integrated tool holder, improving operator ergonomics and accelerating the manufacturing cycle.

The entire system operates in an inert gas-controlled atmosphere, using nitrogen or argon to ensure stable metallurgical quality free from oxidation during the fusion process. Protective gas consumption is adjusted according to the material processed: for titanium materials, a flow of 500 ppm (5–10 l/min) is required, while for all other materials, the recommended flow is 3000 ppm (2–4 l/min).

Safe and Cost-Effective Powder Management for Metal Production

The PROline ecosystem uses closed cartridges to handle metal powder safely and without environmental exposure. During the printing phase, leftover powder is collected in overflow cartridges. In the unpacking phase, unsintered material is vacuumed to the sieving station. Finally, the ultrasonic sieving recovers powder with properties suitable for industrial reuse, reducing waste and maximizing economic efficiency in continuous production. Intelligent management is complemented by a high feeding capacity with five supply cartridges, ensuring extended and optimized production cycles.

Industrial Scalability and Compatibility with Existing Systems

The MPRINTpro ecosystem is compatible with BASEline systems, allowing an upgrade to a 500W laser without replacing existing unpacking or sieving stations. Additionally, the Extended Module allows manufacturing metal parts up to 250 mm in height, expanding industrial application range in advanced engineering, mold making, automotive, aerospace, and functional manufacturing. The machine features a 150 x 150 x 150 mm build volume, making it a flexible platform capable of combining extreme precision with serial productivity.
