Within each version, it is also possible to separately purchase accessories such as a heated syringe, food starter set, a set of stainless steel needles (nozzles) in various diameters, a silicone mat or a food safe flexible build plate.

Single toolhead

This setup is equipped with a single 100 cc volume syringe and offers a build volume of up to 270 x 195 x 170 mm. The single toolhead allows the user to print with one material type with precise detail, accuracy and speed, with heights of up to 170 mm.

Twin toolhead

The twin toolhead setup includes two 100 cc syringes that print simultaneously for double production capacity. The syringes are positioned at a fixed distance, which provides a continuous and uniform print as a result. The build volume provided by this setup is 260 x 195 x 170 mm. This version of the Felix Food printer is best suited to projects where objects need to be replicated and produced at higher levels.

Switch toolhead

The switch toolhead arrangement comes with two independently operating 100 cc syringes that can be filled with two different pastes and switched in seconds for creating complex creations thanks to an intelligent switch mechanism. The build volume of this version is 260 x 195 x 170 mm.

Common features

The Felix Food printer uses standard Luer lock syringes instead of costly branded products, which significantly lowers operating costs. Correct material flow and dosage, as well as no material leakage are ensured by the precise retraction mechanism with a high quality linear stepper motor. The Felix Food printer's syringe and print bed are automatically levelled and calibrated with high accuracy to ensure a perfect first layer at all times, and an overall attractively looking final effect that can be proudly presented to the customer on a plate as a dish.

The Felix Food printer is fully compatible with industry standard and market-leading laminating software - Simplify3D and STL, OBJ, X3D and 3MF files. The Felix Food printer is controlled via a handy but powerful touchscreen with an embedded print server. The printer can be controlled remotely thanks to WiFi and LAN capabilities, and advanced supervision and the creation of timelapse videos is possible thanks to the 2 MP camera module accessible via a smartphone or a PC.
