In a pellet extruder, the hotend melts thermoplastic pellets and maintains a consistent temperature to ensure smooth flow, preventing clogs and extrusion issues. This hotend from MahorXYZ is an official replacement for the hotend included in the Mahor V4 pellet extruder. A pellet extruder needs replacement or maintenance if it shows reduced extrusion quality, irregular flow, frequent clogs, or worn components like nozzles and heating elements. This ensures reliable performance and print quality. The Mahor XYZ hotend is characterised by its robust construction and high performance with quality components.

It consists of a brass barrel, which improves thermal conduction and an efficient heating block, ensuring fast and stable melting of the filament. This hotend features an M12x1 nut to ensure a tight and precise fit, while the 0.8 mm nozzle allows for fast, high-volume prints.

The Mahor hotend also features a stainless steel flange for added strength and durability, complemented by a silicone sleeve that optimises thermal insulation, helping to maintain a constant temperature and prevent filament build-up in the block. Furthermore, the variable height position allows flexibility in the configuration of the heating block to adjust the heating zone and heat transfer to the plastic.
