The first water-soluble support material compatible with PEEK, PEKK, PEI and PPSU.

Infinite Material Solutions is an American company specialising in the development of innovative materials for FFF 3D printing. Unlike other manufacturers, Infinite Material Solutions only includes in its catalogue materials that are unique in the market and that provide added value over other available alternatives.

With this philosophy in mind, they have developed the Aquasys range, two water-soluble support materials that together have the highest compatibility on the market.

AQUASYS 180 is the first water-soluble support material compatible with advanced high temperature materials. It is similar to AQUASYS 120, but optimised to withstand printing temperatures of up to 300°C, and base and chamber temperatures of up to 180°C.

Thanks to this exceptional thermal stability, it can be used as a support material with the most advanced materials available in FFF 3D printing, such as PEEK, PEKKULTEM or PPSU, in addition to most AQUASYS 120 compatible materials.

Like AQUASYS 120, it is hydrophilic, biocompatible, biodegradable, non-toxic and non-carcinogenic. And like AQUASYS 120, its residues do not pose any environmental risk either.

AQUASYS 180 is one of the most user-friendly and thermally stable support materials compatible with advanced materials.

Solubility Solubility

AQUASYS 180 is highly hygroscopic, so it should be stored in an airtight container with desiccant and the use of a device such as Printdry II is recommended during printing. In case it picks up excess moisture, it can be dried at 85 °C for 8h.

It can be dissolved directly in tap water at any temperature, however, the maximum solubilisation rate is reached at 80 ºC.
Although it can withstand printing temperatures up to 300°C, it is recommended to print in the 240 - 260°C range.
