Fast and accurate plant-based resin for rapid prototyping and modeling, easy post-finishing.

The xMODEL15 resin is a 3D printing resin by Nexa 3D that stands out not only in the manufacturer's portfolio but also from other modeling resins available on the market. xMODEL15 is an economical but high-productivity prototyping and modeling material that yields parts with superb feature resolution, great accuracy and excellent surface finish.

Another unique feature of the xMODEL15 reisn is that it is a low odor resin derived from plant-based materials, and it can be cleaned with water and soft brushing (no IPA required). This makes the xMODEL15 resin not only an affordable and easy-to-use material but also a sustainable and environmentally friendly 3D printing solution.

The Nexa 3D ultrafast 3D printing solutions using the patented LSPc and Everlast Membrane technology allow for up to 20x productivity gains and very fast turnover times. The xMODEL15 resin is compatible with many Nexa 3D printers, including the ultrafast 4K XiP desktop 3D printer.

That combined with the xMODEL15 resin's unique features makes it a powerful tool for rapìd prototyping and modeling. The xMODEL15 resin is available in 3 colors (white, grey and black) and it can be easily post-finished by polishing, painting and even plating.

Parts 3D printed with the Nexa 3D xMODEL15 resin will achieve their specific properties only after being subjected to post-processing by washing and curing. If applicable, the support structures must be removed from the part before curing and the part must be washed. The xMODEL15 resin is a plant-based material which allows for washing the 3D printed parts in water, combined with soft brushing. This means that no IPA alcohol or other substances are needed for the washing of this material but the Nexa 3D xClean can be used.

Once washed, the parts 3D printed with the xMODEL15 resin must be dried and then cured either with the help of an LED or wide spectrum lamp, or in the Nexa 3D Wash+Cure station developed especially for the washing and curing of parts 3D printed on the XiP 3D printer. The recommended washing, drying and curing times can be consulted on the manufacturer's website for each Nexa 3D resin.

Certain precautions must be taken when working with 3D printing resins. The user must ensure that the working space is adequately ventilated, and that protective goggles, gloves and garments are worn at all times. The xMODEL15 resin should be stored in a tightly closed container/resin vat to avoid resin deterioration due to UV exposure. The container/vat should be kept in a cool, well ventilated area away from heat, sparks and open flame.
