More information Gestionar cookiesNanovia is a renowned French manufacturer of filaments and products for 3D printing specialised in offering technical products.
Nanovia PLA 3D850 EF is a PLA-based material. PLA is a biodegradable polymer obtained from natural resources, such as starch extracted from corn, soybeans or wheat.
Moreover, PLA is one of the most widely used materials in 3D printing today because it does not give off harmful gases and is easy to print. The ease of use of this material derives from several factors:
Nanovia PLA 3D850 EF is certified free of endocrine disruptors. Endocrine disruptors are a series of chemical substances capable of altering the hormonal system of the human organism and causing its dysfunction, which can lead to various diseases.
PLA 3D850 EF's properties and certifications make it an innovative and differentiated material in the market, ideal for the manufacture of prototypes and toys.

3D printing with Nanovia PLA 3D850 EF is very simple. It is not necessary for the printing bed to be hot, although if a hot bed is available, it is recommended that the bed be at approximately 20-60 ºC, to avoid any small signs of warping. The extruder temperature should be between 200 and 240 ºC. To avoid material degradation, PLA 3D850 EF filament should not be extruded at a temperature above 260 ºC.
Adhesion of the first layer is key, and probably one of the most important factors for good prints, so Blue Tape, BuildTak, Magigoo or 3DLac can be used to achieve optimal adhesion to the build plate.
This filament is a hygroscopic material. It is therefore recommended to store the spool in a dry place, preferably with desiccant bags. If moisture is absorbed, we recommend using a device such as Print Dry Pro to dry the filament.
